There’s a Scripture I wanted to give you guys. It’s Galatians 6:9 - “Let us not lose heart in doing good for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.” And what I was feeling for you guys while I was praying for you this morning was that the season of reaping is upon you. The season of reaping is upon you…The season of harvest is upon you. I really believe that. But I believe that there’s a certain space of getting to that harvest season.
So what I believe is that right in that season, I want to encourage you guys as a church family do not grow weary in doing good. Do not grow weary in doing good. Do not grow weary with the thing that is in front of you. Do not grow weary in serving your church family. Do not grow weary in serving who you are. Do not grow weary in the destiny that’s on your life because I feel for this church, you are on the edge of one of the most remarkable seasons of harvest that you’ll ever see. Not only will it mean church growth and eeehhh that’s like a scary thing to hear oftentimes, trust me. Not only will it mean that but it’s going to be evident in many many different facets of who you are.
I believe that you guys praying for the businesses this morning was very very significant. That’s going to happen. You will receive growth in that. You will receive growth in your ministries. You will receive growth in your destinies. You will receive growth even in health, but don’t stop. Don’t stop. Don’t stop.
I feel like the picture that I’m going to prophesy into you right now is the picture of a train. And I feel like for this, and just go with me on this one, a lot of tension is required in order for a train to go down the tracks. And I believe that’s kind of the place you’re landing yourself is the place of tension. And depending on how you interpret the feeling of tension is where you’re going to go with that. For an old steam locomotive to go down the tracks, they’d fill that steam locomotive, they’d fill it full of coal, they’d set the fire then they’d clamp the brakes on…but they’d build the tension. That was the only way that the train would be able to move down the tracks, was if there was the required amount of tension. If they just stoked the steam engine, set a crazy fire and then flipped the brakes already, the wheels would just spin. It would not move. There would not be enough tension in order to get this whole thing down the tracks. But it stopped. Even though it was static, even though it wasn’t moving, there was a huge amount of energy being put into this thing and I feel like for you guys this is where you are right now. And it doesn’t mean that you’re not moving and don’t even feel that. Some of you might be feeling this place of tension - What’s going on? How are we supposed to get there? Should we continue doing the structure that is set before us? Do we do the religious protocol? Do we do all of this stuff? And yes - absolutely you do. You do. You do that until, you do whatever it takes until. That’s a phrase that we have in Canada in the church. We’re doing whatever it take until we receive the fullness of the glory of God in our nation. And so we understand that, a lot of us understand that when we look at each other - whatever until, whatever until, whatever until.
I feel like you guys are in that spot in Galatians 6:9 - Do not grow weary in doing good. Even when it doesn’t feel good. Even when you’re faced with confusion. Even when you’re faced with this feels like a lot of tension. You can either get pushed back by the tension or you can through yourself onto the fire even more. You can load yourself into more prayer, into more worship, into more hope, doing the exact opposite thing than you should because it feels like you’re not moving forward.
But I’m here to tell you, I’m here to prophesy to you that you’re about to move forward. I feel with all of my heart this morning that the brakes are about to be flipped. You guys haven’t even begun to move and look at where you’re at right now. Watch what happens when the movement starts. The longer the…the bigger the train is, the bigger the weight is, the longer or the more tension has to be created. So celebrate the place of tension. Celebrate the place of tension. You can even go into a theological study of this stuff and wherever there was a place of tension in the Bible that’s where the Kingdom of God was going to be established. So there’s even that. If you don’t believe me, just read this thing [holds up his Bible]. I always tell people start in Genesis, go to Revelation. You’ll find so much more that will confirm what I’m telling you.
But enjoy the place of tension. Choose to be self controlled. That’s one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Be self-controlled and don’t let yourself get bashed down by fear or insecurity or all that stuff. I win on that one out of all you, getting bashed down by fear and insecurity. And I’m trying my best to turn myself from that place and to enjoy the place of tension. To find comfort in the place of tension. Cause I know if I do not grow weary in what I know I’m supposed to do, the breakthrough will happen. And it will hasten the day, the more I throw myself onto the fire. Does this make sense to you guys?…
So another part I was feeling with this stuff is those who remain open to things almost never see them. There’s a whiplash for you. Those who remain open to things almost never see them. You have to earnestly desire them. I wanna add this onto the fire. It doesn’t matter to me if you know that doorway over there is open. I hear that all the time - Oh the doors of the Kingdom are open. That’s great. What are you going to do about it? You have to earnestly desire, you have to earnestly seek after. You can find that somewhere in 1 Corinthians. You just read the whole thing. I’m not going to give you the whole deal. Start in chapter 1 and go your way there.
But it says we earnestly desire the spiritual gifts. We have to go after it. We have to go after it and I feel like to add fire into the place of tension - How are we going to discipline ourselves to pursue and to go through the open door that you know is there.
I feel like the Lord has been releasing a ton of prophecy to this house and now it’s your responsibility, it’s your job - how do we structure movement to get through the open doors the prophetic voices have been speaking? If you just remain open to it, that’s all you’re going to get. That’s a bummer. It’s a bummer because it requires something from us. The way I frame that for myself is a whole lot more sick people would get healed if we just prayed for them. A whole lot more dead people would be raised if we prayed for them. I really do believe this…
I don’t care if a door is open. I really do not care if you know a door is open. What I care about is what are you going to do to get through that. And I feel like for you guys…my gosh I wish you could see what I see right now. There’s so much that is here for you. There’s so much potential. There’s so much of this. And I feel like what the Lord is going to start training you guys in is the pursuit of. Not just the pursuit of, that’s a different way to say it. Of the possession of the promise that you know is there for you.
And to me in the prophetic realm, this is what I’ve been working at a lot, is I don’t want to get my religious gratification based on the fact I can prophesy something. That’s an element of it. I want to get my “religious gratification” based on the possession of the promise that I just saw. That’s where I will stop. I will not stop until I see the possession, until I can feel it in my hands that which we prophesy over. Cause to me gone are the days the prophets would gather around just to hear themselves speak. I don’t have time for that any more. What I want to see is what do we see, how do we get there? How do we build the tension? How do we create a fire? How do we create a structure to capture that tension, to capture the fire in order for this train to go rocketing down the tracks and we can actually go and ransom a generation.
That’s what I want to go after. I want to look a higher place. And I feel like in your church you have a definite grace to be able to do this. Grace. Huh you’re Grace Center.
I feel like the Lord’s going to start giving brand new strategy and that’s something I actually want to prophesy into. I feel like for so much, and I’ve been feeling this since I came into the Nashville area, that whole phrase of hope deferred makes the heart sick. And I feel like for you guys that will not be said of you. It will not be said of you. That will not be a place over Grace Center and for those who find yourselves in this family, hope deferred will be like a - I don’t even know how to say it - People will look at you and say what does that mean? You’ll have healthy hearts. You know, hope deferred makes the heart sick but a longing fulfilled is the tree of life. And I feel like what we are going see here is just so many amazing trees and all of these destinies that you hold in your heart. You’re going to see it established and planted. And it says so in my scripture - you will be a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor. You know, like it’s just amazing what the Lord is going to grow up. You’ll be oaks of righteousness. And this is what the Lord is raising up in this place.
But in order for us to walk out of that hope deferred place we need to have the structure and the know how and the ability to do it. I don’t know what that is for you, but I would submit to you that it is something worthy and worthwhile to start praying into. Not just as a corporate church family, but also for yourself personally. How do we do this? What is the A B C D? How do we create a structure to possess the promise?
You guys know this stuff. In my prophetic training it doesn’t matter if I walk in here and prophesy over somebody that you’re going to be a movie star or something like that. You can go into your room and say Oh that’s the word of the Lord. I’m going to be a movie star. Woohoo! That’s great! You’re never going to be a movie star and I’m not the false prophet. If you don’t do anything with the potential that’s on your life, you’ll never reach that place. All the prophetic does is show you the potential and I feel like there is massive potential over every single person here.
I feel like, and don’t get me wrong on this - I feel a little weird sharing this, but I actually do feel like you can get the music industry based on this church. And I know people come in here all the time and probably say that because it’s Nashville and it’s the easy thing to prophesy, but I actually feel it. Some of you like that. I’ll go take it if you don’t want to. I have fun doing this, you know?
But I feel like there’s stuff here and you’ve been beaten down over and over and over again saying I thought I had a career, I thought I had the talent, I thought I had this and the Lord says Yeah, you sure do. Let’s go back into that place of beating down the whole thing of hope deferred. How do we get the structure? It doesn’t matter if the door’s open, how are we going to get through that together as a family?
Because you’re called to be fishers of men. You’re called to be fishers of men. You’re called to go and ransom a society and I feel like this is the thing that the Lord has really really been dealing with me about is if you’re not catching fish, you have to change your lure. It’s not the fish’s fault if they’re not biting what you’re offering them. You have to go in there and give them something that they want. Give them something they desire. If it’s not working, it’s not right. We have to go back. Do not grow weary in doing good. Get back into your fishing boat, make another lure, throw it into the water and see if it works this next time. And I promise you this - I feel like we are on the edge of coming into some of the greatest fulfillments of the promises that have been over your life. And again, not just as a corporate church but also individually. But God never does anything by Himself so stay coming to church….
Grace Center, try your best. Grace Center, enjoy the season of tension. Be self-controlled. Control your mind, control your emotions in the place of tension and say we will celebrate this. Find the place that makes it even more intense. Find the place of worship. Find the place of prayer. Find out how to burn even though it feels like you’re not going anywhere. We’re going to say goodbye to hope deferred knowing this is what’s going to release us into our destiny. Find the doorway, figure out where am I going to point? Where is my destiny? And go through it. Be satisfied with going through the doorway, not just with knowing where it is. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due time you’ll receive your harvest.
Grace Center, your harvest is upon you. Your harvest is upon you. Long gone will be the days of the heart sick days. Those are going to be gone. I cannot wait to come back and hear all the testimonies. I feel like even from this morning we’re going to hear testimonies of producers, of musicians, of craftsmen and like welders, I don’t know why I just heard that, of artisans of all this kind of, teachers, of mothers, of fathers of all of this stuff. It is going to be established. It is going to be established. It is going to be established. There will be a planting for the display of the Lord’s splendor and it’s going to come from this place…
I speak over you again. Beautiful Grace Center, the season of hope is upon you. Hope will overtake you. In the end, these three things remain - faith, hope and love. And longing fulfilled is the tree of life. So I release to you, fulfilled hope, fulfilled desires. Lord that You would open up those doors and give us the strategies to walk through them. And if we don’t know what to do , we would fulfill our first and our deepest calling, to love you. Grace Center, may the Lord bless you. May the Lord keep you. May the Lord cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you all the days of your life. I say it again over you my family. May the Lord bless you. May the Lord keep you.
