Prophetic Ministry

On most Sundays we offer the opportunity for those attending our services to receive a word of encouragement from our prophetic team. If you’ve never experienced prophetic ministry before, this is a wonderful first step into experiencing God’s loving father’s heart.

What Happens?

We have a team of people who have been trained to hear God’s voice and are excited to share with you what God has to say about you and your life. Simply register at the desk in the hallway behind our main auditorium and one of our hosts will call you when it’s your turn. When you enter the room, a team of three or four people will take turns sharing what they hear Holy Spirit say. Have your phone ready to record the word, so you can listen to it later. The word will always be encouraging and positive.

How it works

  1. Sign up to receive prophetic ministry from 8.30am on Sundays in the hallway behind the main auditorium. Look for a podium labeled “Prophetic Ministry”. As this is a first come first served ministry, we advise you to sign up as early as possible.

  2. Prophetic ministry starts at 10am (and ends at 10.45am) so please make sure you return to the hallway where you signed up and take a seat to wait for your name to be called.

  3. When the host calls your name they will let you know which table to look for as you enter the room. Have your phone ready to record the word.

  4. Look for your table number and take a seat. The team will welcome you and ask for your name.

  5. Set your phone to record and each team member will take turns prophesying to you and then closer in prayer. Each session is around 5-7 minutes.

Guidelines

Our team will follow the guidelines in the New Testament for personal prophetic ministry:

But one who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them.
— 1 Corinthians 14.3

That means your prophetic word will always be encouraging and uplifting. To help ensure our prophetic team can minister to as many people as possible, we ask that you refrain from asking for prophetic ministry in a particular area of your life. If you don’t have a phone that can voice record, we encourage you to borrow one from a friend or family member as the team does not provide recording devices. To ensure that everyone has a chance to receive prophetic ministry, we ask that you allow a three month interval before returning to prophetic ministry again.
