Grace Center’s Missions Department invites you to join a team traveling to Puerto Rico this October 13-20 to work alongside those who are rebuilding after Hurricane Maria devastated the island last year. This 8-day trip led by Tony Wakefield and Tetra Cierpke is a great opportunity for all Grace Center members, from those who have never participated in missions to experienced veterans. The cost is $1,300 and passports are not required. To learn more about this opportunity, attend our interest meeting after church on August 19! The deadline to apply is August 26. In 2011, Grace Center adopted a village called Chuiba in Mozambique, in partnership with Iris Global. Chuiba is a predominately muslim village but there about about 50 or so believers now, including the village chief! To date, we have provided a well for the village, helped to build two buildings that serve as a church and a preschool and established a daily feeding program for about 150 children. Since adopting our village, we have taken multiple trips to build relationships, encourage leadership and nurture cultural exchange.
We have a heart for missions and support missionaries around the world! We are developing a worship community at Grace Center and you can join us for potluck-style Missions Community Nights every month! Learn more and RSVP on our events page.
