Siloam Health is a medical non-profit in Nashville with a mission to “share the love of Christ by serving those in need through health care." Beginning in 1991, Siloam Health has deep roots in the Nashville church. It developed from a desire to become part of the solution to local poverty and a broken health care system. Siloam Health now has a full-time staff of 40 with over 400 regular volunteers including local pastors, intercessors and medical personnel. The majority of Siloam Health’s patients are foreign-born Nashvillians and many have come to know Jesus through the efforts of the Siloam Health team!
The Bakers are the founders of Iris Global, an organization committed to expressing a living and tangible response to those commandments that Jesus called greatest: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength," and "Love your neighbor as yourself.” Iris bases exist in many countries around the world. While Rolland and Heidi are based in Pemba, Mozambique, they also travel extensively, bringing revival wherever they go. Countless around the world have been saved, healed and set free by God through the ministry of Iris Global.
Supresa and his wife, Trythina, live in Nelspruit, South Africa where they are the directors of Iris Africa. He began following the Lord at the age of 15 when he was dramatically called by God to leave everything behind, follow Jesus and preach the Gospel where he went. In 1997, God sovereignly connected Surpresa (which means Surprise) with Heidi and Rolland Baker of Iris Global. Surpresa now serves as the International Director of Pastors for Iris where he helps oversee the rapidly spreading revival in southern Africa.
Tudor was saved at the age of 40 following the anti-communist revolution in Romania. Shortly after his conversion, he and his wife, Mirela, felt God leading them into ministry through television and they founded Alfa Omega TV. They are currently missionaries through media, reaching Romanians all over the world, as well as other communities in Eastern Europe. They do media ministry through television, the internet, printed materials and prayer ministry. Through their ministry, many Romanians have come to know God, have been transformed and have drawn closer to God!
Daniel and his wife, Doina, have been the leaders of Agape Church in Timisoara, Romania, for 26 years. When they were led to plant it in June 1990, Agape Church was the first charismatic church in Romania. Since then, God has opened many doors and over 50 spirit-filled churches have been planted all over the nation of Romania! Prior to their ministry in Romania, Daniel and Doina spent several years in the USA and served as missionaries in China. Their heart is for their home country of Romania to recognize and declare that Jesus Christ is Lord!
Kristen currently lives in a village called Rostrevor in Northern Ireland. She is passionate about bringing reconciliation between Catholics and Protestants, the North and the South of Ireland and between God and man. She is on staff with Youth With A Mission, and works mostly within the Discipleship Training Schools, where she mentors students and leads them on short term outreaches to places like India, Burundi, Albania, and Lebanon. She is committed to indiscriminate acts of kindness and service to Jesus, rooted in community and outreach.
Don and Tod are the leaders of Caleb Company, whose name is inspired by Caleb - the fearless warrior described in the Bible as having wholehearted devotion to the Lord. The Caleb Company is called to raise up an intergenerational company of Jewish and Gentile believers in Yeshua (Jesus), challenge them to a life of wholehearted devotion to the Lord, and equip them with the Israel key that unlocks world revival. Don is a loved father in our city. He and Tod (along with Tod’s wife, Rachel, and their children) are an integral part of the Grace Center family!
Dave and Peggy have spent many years dedicated to building an awareness of God's love for Israel, His firstborn. In 2014, they launched the Institute for Cross Cultural Affairs (ICCA) as a vehicle for their work in both Israel and the USA, in political and business spheres and among both the Jewish and Christian communities. Among their many recent ventures is a camp for high school students that brings Israeli Jews and local Christians together in friendships that open many doors to the future! He and Peggy are also a father and mother in the Grace Center family!
Joe and Denise are the founders of Elijah’s Heart, a non-profit organization whose purpose is to show love to underprivileged children and their families, to assist them with practical needs and to raise awareness about their desperate situations to inspire others to act. Elijah’s Heart seeks to love others by giving food to those in need and providing a safe place and opportunities for children to create music and grow in academics. Joe is affectionately known as Papa Joe as he and Denise have been a father and mother to the children of Nashville for many years!
Before moving to the Nashville area, Steve and Samantha Allen spent sixteen years as missionaries in Bankok, Thailand, working as church-planters amongst Thai Buddhists. When they returned to the USA, they remained passionate about seeing young men and women equipped and released into their callings. They are currently on staff with Caleb Company in Nashville. Steve also helps propel people into their God-given destinies as a leadership coach and Samantha focuses on using the arts to encounter God through prayer and worship. They and their six children are beloved members of the Grace Center family.
